You and Me Valentine's Card using Freckled Fawn Feb 2019 Bundle - Lydia Cost

Happy Valentine’s Day, beautiful friends!  I’m here today with a little card I created using this month’s Freckled Fawn bundle.  It’s filled with all kinds of love, and I thought it would make the perfect bundle to make a little card for my sweetie.

I first started with the background of my white card.  I really wanted to do some mixed media on this one, so I pulled out my paints to create a red watercolor background.  I then altered this month’s wood veneer piece, by inking it with one of my favorite shades of pink.  I love the alter my wood veneer pieces to match any project I’m working on.

This month’s kit also includes this pretty little gold doilies, so I knew that would need to find a place on my card.  Last but not least, my favorite embellishment, enamel dots.  This month’s set it so so pretty, and I think I might have already used them up!

Thanks so much for joining me today!  I hope you have a blessed day with your loved ones, as we celebrate the greatest gift of all, love!

Freckled Fawn January 2019 Bundle Traveler's Notebook Spread - Lydia Cost

Hey there, guys!  I hope you guys are having an amazing start to the week!  Today I’m sharing a little spread I created inside my Freckled Fawn TN, using this month’s bundle.

I began this layout by altering this green speech bubble paper to house my photo for the spread.  There is a tutorial for this on my Instagram stories today!

I really wanted to use this photo from the summer of 2016 to write a little note to my son about what makes his daddy so amazing.  I added my title using the Family & Words Foam Stickers.

I used my leftover cutout on the opposing page.  It worked out great that the backside had this amazing green graph pattern.

I added my journaling to this amazing blue label from this month’s labels.
