Hello there, friends! Some of you might have noticed that I got a little happy mail over the weekend, and it was just so cute! I’ve had the pleasure of starting my week working with the fun new releases over at Catherine Pooler Designs.
I decided for my first project, I wanted to create some fun mini cards. These are perfect for tucking away in my little’s lunch box, or passing a fun note of congrats to someone in your life! The great 3×3 size is just perfect for surprising someone anywhere!

I started these by cutting out my 3×6 cardstock, so fold in half for a cute little 3×3 card. Next I ran the front portion through my die-cutting machine, to cut out a circle in the patterned paper and my cards. The cute patterns corridinate perfectly with the peeking pets stamp set I planned to use.

Next I pulled out my ink pads and my acrylic block. I evenly stamped those cute little pets onto my white cardstock. I then colored them in with my water-based markers, and then dressed them up with accessories and fun glasses.

I nestled each one inside my card, so they would peek out the circle on the front. I then used the “One Liners” stamp set, to add a cute little sentiment to each card.

All that’s left is tuck these little guys in someone’s pocket to cheer them up, or slide one inside my little’s lunch box for a happy little note.
