I was so blessed to find myself with a little scrap-therapy time last week, and it felt so nice to scrap with some actual scraps. Sometimes it is so nice to step away from design team work and scheduled projects, for a little scrapping that’s just for you. I forget how amazing it feels to create with no idea of the end result.
I took this amazing photo of a monarch at a local wetlands area, and I knew I wanted to get messy and scrappy with it. I worked out of a little hexagon box of scraps on my desk, and I even included a piece from our recent modem installation under my photo.
That day I felt like I would have made Suse Fish proud with all my scrap using!
I certainly have to remind myself that creating to simply create is so important for my well-being, and I was really happy with this messy little layout about a simple little butterfly!
