You know what I love the most about our relationship with the Lord; we can be completely honest with Him because there is nothing that He does not already know about us. The past couple weeks have been rough for me, and sometimes the only thing left to do is call out to Him in prayer.
I have to remind myself that it is okay not to be okay all of the time. I am drawn to these verses in Psalm 55 because they are a representation of how in my time of need, just as David did, I accost the Lord in prayer. When my human means are not enough, I plea with the Lord to hear my prayer!
For when “My heart is in anguish within me,” I am reminded that I can come to Him, knowing that He is the God to calm the storm within.
I feel so blessed that the veil was torn, and I can plea with our heavenly father to hear my prayer, and he will listen.
