Revival Camp Session 6, Day 2

Illustrated Faith Revival Camp Travelers Notebook Session 6 - Lydia Cost

For this page in my TN, I wanted to use a vellum piece from the Flourish collection ephemera pack.  This section of session 6 was focused on waiting on the Lord’s timing, and I instantly thought of the patiently waiting for beautiful things to grow.  I picked out this little glass bell jar terrarium illustration because it instantly made me think of that!

Because it is a vellum piece, I wanted to add a background to my book page to help it stand out.

As I was out the other day, these amazing Vicki Boutin watercolors instantly popped out at me.  I picked them up and thought, “Do I really need another set of watercolors,” and the answer was a definite yes!  I have no liquid watercolors like this in my arsenal, and these are simply gorgeous, vibrant colors!

I layered on another leftover punch shadow piece, another piece of that cellophane bag from yesterday’s entry, and a glassine piece to create a whimsical cluster.  I then stitched my title over that and adhered my pretty vellum bell jar above it!

Lastly I used this great sticker from the Flourish Cardstock Sticker Sheet, a little stitching, and an Elle’s Studio Sticker for my number!  I really love the way this page turned out!
