For day 94 of 100 Days of Bible Promises I wanted to use my new Vicki Boutin stamps that Laura Winslow from Scrapbook.com sent to me! I really wanted to create a layered flower design, and the stamp set was perfect for that! I pulled out my Illustrated Faith watercolors, and I painted messily onto some white cardstock. I then stamped the flowers onto my paint and fussy cut them out! I created the layered look by stamping the flower onto the page first, then adding my stitched, fussy-cut flower on top. This page was truly one of my favorites that I’ve created in a long time!
Isaiah 61:3 (NIV)
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
