The moment I saw these beautiful moths from Mandy Ford in the She is Brave: Stephanie Smokovich Benefit Bundle , I fell madly in love! I knew I was going to plaster a million on one sheet for future projects! Seriously, Mandy, that moth has my heart! The florals are pretty darn cute too!
John 15:7-8 (ESV)
7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.
This is such a powerful verse of the Bible! If we abide in Lord and His words remain in us, then we can ask anything of Him, and it will be done! I could go into a whole theoretical conversation about unbiblical requests, but I won’t; I truly believe that if we are saved, then our true desires we ask of the Lord are righteous! And I know that my answer is already, “Yes” because my Lord has sufficiently provided for me and given me my desires. Doesn’t that just stop you in your tracks and leave you in awe?!
There are several areas of my life that I have forgotten His promise, and until this revelation, I’d given up hope. Now I’m fervent in prayer, and I KNOW it will be done! Over the past couple years, I have prayed and prayed that I might find my place, and I can honestly say that the Lord is nestling me right in where i know He wants me. I can’t recall my life and remember an exorbitant amount of joy, but this year has been an extraordinary exception when I face it in hindsight! My prayers have been answered with a big, “Yes,” and I am so immeasurably grateful to be His!
