Our Daily Homework: Study the Word

StudytheWord_2

It’s been a while since I spent my lunch break from work journaling, but when I just didn’t have the motivation to get outside to run (I really need to get my exercise on ladies, but blah…), I decided I was going to sneak in some quick Bible journaling instead!  Journaling during lunch doesn’t always produce the prettiest of pages because I’m strapped for time, but it does mean that much more time spent in the Word; That’s all that matters!  Besides, I couldn’t help journaling this verse in 2 Timothy with the new collection from Bella Blvd, Pop Quiz.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV)

16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

As I told a kind reader a couple days ago, it doesn’t really matter what your page looks like, as long as your heart starts to glow a little brighter with the beautiful promises of His Word!

I think this collection was absolutely perfect for outlining how absolutely necessary it is for us to really make it our jobs to study the Word.  We need a constant reminder to do the homework of studying our Bibles; without that study we will never gain discernment or righteousness!
