I’m a little embarrassed to admit how long some of these pieces have been in my scrap stash. I’ve made it my goal to pull out at least one old item from my stash every time I create! For this particular layout I started with these Crate Paper Oh Darling Acetate Letters. I have had these in my stash for as long as I can remember. I think they are the cutest thing ever; however, I’ve found that they are really hard to read any words I might create with them. For that reason I never seemed to leave them on any project, so today I decided I would create a pretty background with them all! What better photos to add to it then these gems with my little and his grandma! I just love these photos!
After arranging them I added a little stitching to each letter to add some interest. I just love how it turned out! The magenta, oranges, and yellows really give this colorful layout an even bigger punch; moreover, after a drab winter, I could certainly use a punch of color! I think I managed to stash bust with every designer haha; There’s a little Heidi Swapp, Crate Paper, Simples Stories, Maggie Holmes, and Amy Tangerine.
