I’ve been spending a lot of time in the old testament, and every time I read about old testament families and their burials, I am just shocked by their faith. I’m shocked that they had such profound faith and trust in the Lord’s promises, that they sacrificed everything to bury their loved ones in the land promised to them. They also made sure their left-behind would bury them in the promised land. It had not yet been given to them, but they whole-heartedly believed that the Lord would fulfill His promise! Isn’t that just amazing!?
I had a little extra time as my son was home sick for a day, and I had a morning to craft while he slept. I pulled out my favorite paper pad from Illustrated Faith, designed by Stephanie Buice, You are Loved. I started with my circle punch, and then cut each circle in half. I ran the edges through my sewing machine and started layering away! I’m really obsessed with this page, mostly because I’m obsessed with that paper pad! I think it might be my favorite entry thus far!
