Seek Knowledge

Knowledge Bible Journaling

Proverbs 18:15 (ESV)

15 An intelligent heart acquires knowledge,
and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

Knowledge is one of the most important things for us to seek as Christians.  We need knowledge so that we might gain a discerning heart.  Without discernment we cannot navigate the sin and pressures of this world.  Knowledge helps us follow the Lord’s statutes without doubt.

I thought I would share today about how I take my hybrid ephemera to the next level.  As some of you may know, I’m a lover of digital collections.  I source most of my digital collections from either AC Digitals or the Print & Pray Shop!  This is the most cost effective way for me to stretch my physical product for ever!  I like to mix my physical product and digitals to have a full arsenal of goodies!  I’m absolutely obsessed with Maggie Holmes products, so every time a new collection is released, I wait patiently for the digitals to be released as well.  These flowers, for instance, are from the digital version of the Bloom collection!

What I love about the physical product of most of Maggie’s collections are that they include gold foil and glitter!  You don’t quite get that when you download digital product. So after I have printed my ephemera I add the glitter and foiling myself!  Isn’t that genius!?  For instance that little plaid fawn with faux glitter on it’s legs, I embossed the glitter on myself in this older entry!  It looked just like this!

For this particular page the pretty bloom leaves have faux gold glitter as well, so I pulled out my heat gun, my embossing pens, and my embossing powder in Gold Tinsel.

The embossing pens are absolutely amazing!  They are from the new Letter It line from Ranger, and they allow you to emboss literally anything!

Make sure to follow me on Instagram because I will be doing a live this evening featuring this technique and some tips and tricks on how I use my digital ephemera!
