Thankful for Your Smile

Smiles Bible Journaling Illustrated Faith

Proverbs 15:30 (ESV)

30 The light of the eyes rejoices the heart,
and good news refreshes[a] the bones.

For Day 16 of Gratitude Documented, it was all about being thankful for smiles.  I knew I’d have to pull out my interleaved edition because I’d need room to highlight a cute photo of my little man!  I also knew that I wanted to use the Maggie Holmes Sticker Book!  I’m fairly certain that it will take about 2 years to use all the stickers in that book, and it’s amazing!  (Even still I need 3 more haha)  When I was standing in the Hobby Lobby aisle trying to decide which one to purchase, I kept picking up and putting down this one and the Dear Lizzy book.  I had a really hard time choosing which one.  They are all so beautiful!  I decided to go with the Maggie Holmes version because her designs have always had my crafty heart, and they are so easy to mix in with collections I already own.

If you haven’t seen the Sticker Books yet, then you are definitely missing out!  They are the best deal EVER!  This particular book has 1163 stickers in it, including foil and transparent stickers.

Lord, I am so incredibly thankful for his smiles!  I’m thankful that a small smile on his face can change everything about my day; it can change everything I feel inside.  The giggles, smiles, and good times are everything to me.

This was an awesome post. Came across your altered book devotional on IG. Great idea! I’m 30 years into my journey as a Christian and there’s been plenty of “redecorating” on the inside. Definitely a work in progress! Thank you for the scripture 🌸
