² And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him,
    the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
    the Spirit of counsel and might,
    the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

It’s hard to imagine myself explaining what the Holy Spirit has done in my life, so I’ll just leave it to the verse above.  The Holy Spirit grants peace, wisdom, understanding, counsel, strength, knowledge, and a fear of the Lord.  The Holy Spirit is responsible for turning me from my sinful ways and bringing me into the light!  It is the part of the Holy Trinity that resides within me and gives me breath.

I wanted to create this page in my Gratitude Documented Altered Book because it was feeling a little neglected the past couple of days!  I’m so glad I did because I just loved the way that it turned out!

I knew that I wanted some bold letters for my page so I set up using a paper pad, clear embossing powder/ink, and an Illustrated Faith stamp set.  I have always loved having some clear embossing powder on hand for this particular thing!  I don’t personally own a die-cut machine (a shame, I know), so I have to resort to creative ways to cut from designs.  After the embossing was finished, I could easily see the outline of the stamped letters I wanted to cut.
