I’m working through week 2 a little late in The Faithful Life Challenge. I think what I took most from this verse today was the quotation of scripture in a scripture that says, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” I need not worry about financial burdens and shortcomings because my Lord is in charge. I have no need to feel envy and longing for more money. I really do struggle with this because I am a very fiscal individual. I worry about making ends meet. I think most families do. It’s a hard area of control that we need to be willing to give up. We must have so much faith in His promise to us [I will never forsake you] that we relinquish that control to Him and seek contentment in that.
